Diverse Beauty Exhibition

South Africa, land of diverse beauty.

From desert to sea, fynbos to forest, mountains to grasslands. We have landscapes for every desire, mountains are mine.

Some moments are more enduring than others, one that stays with me is a time I saw two full rainbows in the mountains of the Eastern Cape. Perhaps the term, “rainbow nation” has been overused but I felt how the kaleidoscope of colour triumphed after the storm.

In my artwork, I have nullified the colourful spectrum of the rainbow, not giving importance to colour but rather to the strength of the form.

We should be defined by our presence and not by the colour of our skin.
